Vitamins That Boost Testosterone – It’s Like Music To Your Ears!
Who wants to sing a song with me? nobody? .. ahh ok, I’ll just sing alone then! It’sKaraoke time.
ABC..It’s as Easy as 1,2,3, ABC..
haha who remembers that song? Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. A classic song, almost unforgettable, and a great way to remember the vitamins that boost testosterone levels, however, we do need to adjust the song a little bit to include the missing micronutrients.
ABC..It’s as Easy as 1,2,3, ABC…..and D and E!
Yes, my friends, it is that easy to remember which vitamins will augment your T-levels, just know your alphabet and a little jingle from a popular Motown song! A, B, C, D and E are the very ones that will help us.
Vitamin A
An often forgotten and an absolutely essentially vital nutrient for increasing testosterone levels. Research has shown when there is zero active quantity of this micronutrient in the gonads levels of testosterone plummet like a lead balloon! And that’s not the only bad news… your levels of that girlie hormone, the testosterone killing estrogen start to rise!
So, “por cojones” (for your bollocks, sake!) make sure you get enough vitamin A in your diet!
Interestingly, for the bodybuilders amongst us, the effectiveness of increasing lean muscle mass of vitamin A is said to be comparable to that of steroids!
Source: Carrots, dark leafy green vegetables, tropical fruits, fish liver, apricots, lettuce. dairy products, pumpkins and Beet greens. Best consumed with a sprinkling of olive oil as vitamin A is fat soluble.
Vitamin B
For sure you have the term “B complex vitamins” That is because there is a whole complex group of 8 vitamins that make up the vitamin B group.
They are sometimes better known by their other names such as Thiamin (Better known as Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Also known as Vitamin B2), Niacin (commonly known as Vitamin B3), Pantothenic Acid (that’s Vitamin B5 to you and me), Vitamin B6, Biotin (AKA Vitamin B7) Cobalamin (the all important Vitamin B12) and Folic Acid.
The vitamin B complex group plays an overall all-embracing all inclusive function in our health, including neurological and endocrine health including testosterone production. A Lack or low levels of B complex vitamins include reduced testosterone production, increased estrogen production and an overall lack of energy and lethargy.
Source: Marmite, buttermilk, Rice milk, liver sausage, tinned fish, dairy produce, eggs, Broccoli, Asparagus, Salmon, animal liver, Shell Fish, crab, Tofu, and red meat.
It is worthy of noting that B complex vitamins are water soluble, meaning it is almost impossible to overdose on the vitamins as they can easily be flushed out via the urinary tract.
Vitamins That Boost Testosterone – Vitamin C
Vitamin D
Also known as the sunshine vitamins because we get it from the sun. Healthy for the cardiac function and for our bones as well as over 1,000 other bodily functions.
Studies in Germany showed vitamin D can give a 25% increase in testosterone production and a notable weight loss over a considerable time period.
With augmented testosterone levels it shows that vitamin D is not just good for your bones, it’s good for your boner also!
Source: The best source is that big fiery ball in the sky otherwise known as the sun! Can also be found in fish and eggs.
Vitamin E
Research has shown that a lack of vitamin E in humans and rats results in lowered testosterone levels. Also, in groups of men and in rodents given high doses of vitamin E testosterone levels increased.
It is therefore not difficult to deduct that increased intake of vitamin E can elevate testosterone levels.
Vitamin E is said to be great for the skin and for the prostate health.
Source: Seeds, nut butter, nuts, wheat germ, margarine, vegetable oils.
