Beet Juice Recipes For High Blood Pressure
Beet Juice Recipes For High Blood Pressure
In this article, I will give you two rather healthy and refreshing beet juice recipes for high blood pressure. These recipes get the thumbs up and it’s nutritional contents and ability to lower high blood pressure and assist in erectile dysfunction.
Special Equipment Required
The only special piece of equipment required to make all of the smoothies, juices and shakes on this site is a quality high-speed blender and a juicer.
Fortunately, for us space saving penny pinchers, there are a number of good quality all in one devices that exist and do the job very well. One such is the blender that I recommend, the Montel Williams Health Master Elite as it is a very well priced blender, juicer and food processor that is, all importantly BPA free.
BPA Bisphenol-A can cause erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
Ingredients
The ingredients use are very easily sourced and you really ought to find them without any difficulty in your local supermarket. Go organic if you can.
Apple: A rather good source of vitamin c and dietary fibre. Apples may contain around 10% sugars, but it is natural sugars and I have added them to this recipe to naturally sweeten up the peculiar taste of beetroot.
Beetroot: A source of folates as well as Potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese meaning this vegetable is good for lowering blood pressure and helping with insomnia. A powerful source of antioxidants
Carrots: What up Doc? Bugs Bunny’s favourite food. Stunningly high in testosterone boosting vitamin A, in fact, just one cup of carrots chopped raw organic carrots provides almost four and a half times the amount of vitamin A required on a daily basis.
For my gym loving friends reading this, vitamin A in high quantities has been shown in clinical trials to be more effective in building lean muscle mass than steroids. Also contain the blood pressure calming minerals potassium, calcium, and magnesium.
Celery: A great source of B-complex vitamins and vitamin A. Very high in blood clotting vitamin, Vitamin K, which helps with insomnia. Also contains and is a natural source of the androgen androsterone which has been used in androgen therapy for almost 100 years.
Cistanche Tubulosa: A very good adaptogenic herb from Chinese traditional herbal medicine that has great effects on male and female sexual function due to being a hormone regulator that helps to rebalance any hormonal imbalances in the endocrine system.
Also, has a calming effect on the mind and body. Helps with high blood pressure due to the calming effect on the mind and the essential minerals calcium, potassium and magnesium being present.
Method
If you are using organic produce to make your beet juice recipes for high blood pressure leave the skins on as that is where the higher mineral content is.
Simply chop and prepare the vegetables and put them in the juicer individually, and don’t be a dip sh*t like me when I first used my juicer..I forgot to place something to catch the juice!
Doh!
Once your delicious juice is ready you can either take your Cistanche Tubulosa herb before, during or after you have enjoyed the juice. You can also mix it into the herb for good measure, it what I prefer to do.
Alternative Recipe
Alongside the ingredients of carrots and beetroot use Red grapes.
Red grapes: High in insomnia assisting nutrient, vitamin K also a good source of vitamin C and like beetroot a powerful source of antioxidants. Interestingly red grapes provide us men with a double win situation, a win-win, where they can lower estrogen and raise testosterone levels at the same time.
This is because they contain resveratrol which is a naturally occurring substance that can block excess estrogen and raise testosterone levels.
The method of elaborating these two delicious beet juice recipes for high blood pressure is the same.
What About The Pulp?
Waste no want not my friends. It would be a shame, and an absolute waste to throw away the pulp like many people would do. The pulp is still high in top quality natural (or organic if you used organic produce) nutrients – so why throw them away!
You simply have them as they are and dry the pulp and make fruity biscuit using a little-unbleached flour. You can also make delicious fruity burgers using chickpeas!
There is absolutely no need to waste quality nutrients so make use of the leftover pulp. If you have any great idea or fab recipes for using the leftover pulp, please do share with us in the comments below. Remember, sharing is caring.
