In this article I will suggest to you some fruit that is good for high blood pressure so that you can easily add them to your diet and help to lower your blood pressure, this is a continuance of the previous article vegetables that are good for high blood pressure
So, let’s get the ball rolling with some deviously delicious pressure dropping fruit.
Kiwi
Delicious, nutritious and good for lowering blood pressure and helping with insomnia due to being a source of vitamin K. Kiwi’s are a source of vitamin C and two of the pressure chilling minerals potassium and magnesium.
You can make some really delicious smoothies and juices with Kiwis. go for it! try one out!
Peaches
Fabulous fruit, inspired the song Peaches by Presidents of the United States of America, however, don’t go for the canned version like they sing in the song as canned foods contain BPA (Bisphenol A) which is an erection killer and quick sex inducer!
Good source of testosterone inducing Vitamins A and C as well as blood pressure relaxing magnesium.
Bananas
I have mentioned it so many times on this site that bananas are great for erectile dysfunction due to their nutritional content and containing Bromelain an enzyme known to fight ED.
Bananas are also very good for lowering blood pressure not only because of their high potassium content but because of they contain all 3 of the blood pressure lowering minerals.
Avocado
Avocado are very good for vegetable based cholesterol, as we know by now cholesterol is the building blocks of testosterone and essential to our diet. Like, bananas contain all 3 of the blood pressure lowering minerals.
Be sure to be adding these to your diet. Try a variety of stuffed avocados, like tuna stuffed avocados for example.
Pineapple
Absolutely delicious and one of my daily fruits. Like Bananas, a source of ED busting bromelain. Packed with all 3 minerals required to lower blood pressure. Contains a lot of vitamins known to boost testosterone levels also, A, B, and C. Fabulous on its own or in smoothies.
have a look at the mineral content.
Melon
Melon, quite hard to find where I am, none the less good for lowering your blood pressure and a good choice for those fighting erectile dysfunction due to the vitamin and mineral content, a source of vitamins A and C as well as the B complex of vitamins.
Mineral content includes potassium, calcium, and magnesium making it a winner and not a sinner for those looking to lower their blood pressure.
Apricot
Apricots are one of the top fruits for their content of potassium. Dried apricots are also acceptable as part of your hypertension lowering diet. good source of Vitamins A and C. Instead of snacking on sweets, snack on dried apricots and have it elevated potassium work on your elevated blood pressure.
That’s a lovely list of fruit that is good for blood pressure which combines nicely with the list of vegetables that can help lower your HBP.
Herbs That Lower Blood Pressure
There are herbs that can lower your blood pressure and help sufferers of erectile dysfunction to “point north” those herbs are worth considering as the regular ED meds are quite dangerous for sufferers of high blood pressure to take.
Two such herbs are Ashwagandha from Indian Ayurvedic medicine and the rare Cistanche Tubulosa from Chinese herbal medicine.
Both these herbs work at lowering blood pressure but in different ways and have been used in their respective herbal medicine disciplines for thousands of years.
