As a regular reader, you will know of my love for smoothies, and this article is exactly that a smoothie for high blood pressure recipe.

I love smoothies due the ability to deliver a lot of quality nutrients that the body requires easily and, to be quite frank and honest, deliciously!

While designing our smoothies we must be aware of the vitamin and mineral content of the ingredients we are using all while making sure that there are none that are high in sodium.

I try my best to make sure that you get all the required nutrients to lower your blood pressure and, where possible some cheeky vitamin and minerals to help you “downstairs”

 Special Equipment Required

Like all of the delicious smoothies that give you recipes for, there is no special equipment needed other than what you may already have in your kitchen. Simply

Simply, a sharp knife and chopping board for preparing the ingredients and a good quality high-speed heavy duty blender. If you don’t have a high-speed heavy duty blender at home I suggest you have a look at the Montel Williams Health Master Elite High-speed blender, juicer, and food processor. (It’s the exact one I use!).

Ingredients

The ingredients in this smoothie are super healthy and easy to find, one of which you may need to have delivered. Like I always suggest, go organic, as organic is orgasmic! and enjoy food as mother nature intended (and not as some pharmaceutical company wants!

Bananas: Did I mention how them darn monkeys are practising free love all day every day? Bananas, their main food source is probably the culprit. Seriously, this fruit is very good for erectile dysfunction due to the vitamin and mineral content and the enzyme bromelain.

They not only help to bring down your blood pressure due to containing in Potassium, Magnesium,  and calcium. Great for the heart and our energy levels due to being a natural source of vitamin B complex of vitamins.

As an odd fact, I have given up energy drinks like red bull and replaced them with foods high in B vitamins like Bananas.

Coconut water: highly nutritious, and I do admit I am “loco for coco” Coconut water is a magnificent natural electrolyte helping you to stay hydrated, it is the very reason I always have it on hand, living in a tropical climate it is a wise thing to do. Good source of magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

You can also use coconut meat in this recipe, totally optional. Perhaps a nice decoration by sprinkling on top.

Organic raw cacao powder: While being good for getting into your girlies good books and quite possibly her knickers as well! Organic raw cacao powder is the healthy chocolate that will take care of your chocolate loving girlfriend or wife’s waistline and your high blood pressure too. Good source of, potassium, magnesium, and calcium as well as the b vitamins that are great for your cardio health.

Also, it is a powerful antioxidant and contains resveratrol, which is a booster of the sex drive hormone, testosterone, (perhaps this is what is behind the mystical knicker elastic snapping properties of chocolate).

Raw cacao powder, it’s healthy chocolate, not the sh*t form the shops!

The antioxidants and theobromine found in raw cacao powder is a naturally occurring stimulant that is said to be beneficial in cases of mild depression. They also help to increase blood flow.

As you can see these ingredients are healthy and contain the right nutrients to ease your blood pressure and potentially help with erectile dysfunction, especially if your erectile dysfunction is high blood pressure related. There are also nutrients to help elevate your testosterone levels.

Method

Super easy! cut and chop the bananas, put them in the blender, add the coconut water and raw cacao powder, and allow the ingredients to mix around in the blender until you have the consistency that you desire.
