Exercises For Erectile Dysfunction
Exercises For Erectile Dysfunction
In this article, we talk about exercises for erectile dysfunction and give clear concise examples of what is best and how to perform them.
Frustration
When I looked at this man and saw the frustration on his face, I could make out the problem he might be suffering from. From my experience, I can now guess the problem a man is having just by seeing that expression.
For example, a very serious and troubled look is usually due to an equally serious disorder like a heart problem and a frowning look is often due to the pain caused by arthritis or something similar.
Whatever may be the problem, I always stress on the long-term benefits of the treatment by modifying the diet and doing exercises for erectile dysfunction or any other problem.
Coming back to this man, the expression of frustration gave away a hint to his problem and I was right! He was troubled by one of the most common sexual problems in men, ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION!
Importance Of Exercises For Erectile Dysfunction
One thing that all men should keep in mind is that if you are suffering from any sexual problem, it does not mean there is something wrong with your sexuality. In most cases, ED occurs due to an underlying disorder, which is related to your lifestyle and diet.
erectile dysfunction can just be a side effect of some other condition you might be suffering from like high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, nerve problem, a problem with the blood flow, anxiety, stress and so on.
So, it really makes no sense to focus on your sexual functions to treat erectile dysfunction. What you need to do is directly attack the root cause of the disease and bring an improvement in your general health! And what could be a better way to do this than to exercise.
The exercises for erectile dysfunction are aimed at reducing your weight, controlling your cholesterol, managing your blood sugar levels, improving the blood flow to your penis, reducing stress and anxiety, and boosting your hearts function. These exercises will make you a healthy and happy man!
Exercises For Erectile Dysfunction
Pelvic Floor Exercises
If you are a beginner and not used to excessive physical activities, then, I would suggest you begin with the pelvic floor exercises. These exercises for erectile dysfunction work by improving the strength of the muscles in the pelvic floor.
These exercises are called Kegel exercises. They work out the bulbocavernosus muscle, which is involved in increasing the engorgement of the penis during erection.
To begin with, you will have to locate the muscles of the pelvic floor by stopping your stream of urine several times during urination. The muscles that you clench while doing this are the ones you need to focus on.
To perform this exercise, hold these muscles for a few seconds and then, relax. Repeat this 10 to 15 times, twice or thrice a day.
Getting to more advanced pelvic floor exercises and to build up that muscle down there you can try doing them with weights! – we use weights to build our pec and biceps so why not down there? The guys over at PE Gym came up with a brilliant device for you to try out!
Check It Out Here! And “muscle up downstairs!” and help banish your ED!
Aerobic Exercises
Miracles do occur provided you are ready to put in some efforts! If you want to get rid of erectile dysfunction forever, you need to improve your general health and maintain your weight. The best exercises for erectile dysfunction, which actually work fantastically well are the aerobic exercises.
They take care of the multiple causes of ED including obesity, high cholesterol, heart diseases, diabetes, and vascular diseases that affect the blood flow to the penis.
The improvement in your sexual performance can be brought about by taking a brisk walk for 30 to 40 minutes every day or performing some other aerobic exercises like jogging, swimming, and cycling.
And how about taking your partner with you when you go for a walk? This will surely bring you closer to each other and take you one more step ahead during your journey from erectile dysfunction to a perfect erection!
Yoga
Yoga is considered one of the best exercises for erectile dysfunction, especially if you have been suffering from it due to stress and anxiety. Men with heart problems can also practice yoga to strengthen their heart functions.
Khandasan is a Yoga pose that is safe and highly effective for these patients as it does not involve intense physical activity.
To practice Khandasan, sit on the floor with your legs stretched in the front. Then, bend your knees, and widen the thighs, while bringing the feet towards your chest. Your heels should be close to the perineum while doing so. Then, hold your right foot with the right palm and your left foot with the left palm.
Then, draw the feet up using the hands towards the trunk, pull the thighs, invert the ankle, and place the outer sides of both the feet against the chest and navel.
Then, release the hands, and stretch both the arms in the front while resting the back of the hands on the knees. Make sure your back is erect. Stay in the pose for 20 to 30 seconds and then, release.
Practice this asana 5 to 6 times every day. You will experience a remarkable difference in your sexual performance within just a few weeks.
You can also practice meditation to reduce your stress and anxiety levels.
Embarrassing and frustrating, erectile dysfunction is a problem that affects most men in their middle and older age.
The more you get frustrated and worried about it, the worse the problem is going to get. Instead, you should try to get to the root of the problem and seek a long-term cure through these exercises for erectile dysfunction rather than trying short-term miraculous remedies, which can only cause more harm to your sexual and general health.
These exercises for erectile dysfunction will take care of the underlying causes of ED and ensure you can enjoy your sexual activity to the fullest!
A very good diet and exercise program for getting in shape is the Old School New Body program which is, while aimed at all ages, is more specific for those aged 35+. It is what I would consider as very good for erectile dysfunction as it focuses on getting you in shape without being too strenuous or exhausting.
Rather interestingly features a free bonus ebook “keep the drive alive” aimed at helping you to keep your sex drive alive. I recommend that you do exactly that, keep your drive alive and banish the bedroom blues by trying the old school new body program.
