In past articles, we spoke about fruits that can be beneficial for erectile health and herbal remedies that can be of a great benefit also. There is a host of vegetables for ED as well.
Listing which vegetables that are favorable for men who are suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED) it should be relatively easy for us to put together a healthy ED busting diet.
Can You Beat a Beet?
Beetroot is a great addition to an Erectile Dysfunction destroying diet as it is well known for lowering blood pressure, high in nitrates which get converted to nitric oxide in the body which is known to assist in vasodilation.
It is via vasodilation how Viagra works, probably why it is said to be one of the best vegetables for ED treatment.
Juiced or raw is the best way to have beetroot as fermenting or cooking them you lose many of their beneficial effects.
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are high in lycopene, lycopene is what gives food’s their reddish colour. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant known to have properties favourable for curing erectile dysfunction. as it assists in blood flow by helping the blood vessels to relax.
It is worth noting that adding a little olive oil can help the body to take in the lycopene.
Tomatoes are also high in vitamin A, C and folic acid and are believed to be one of the world’s healthiest foods. Tomatoes are also good for prostate and cardio health.
Spinach
Spinach is high in nitrates and magnesium and other essential vitamins and minerals known to enhance testosterone production – it’s no wonder Popeye was reaching this superfood!
Spinach is best enjoyed boiled. Although being a superfood it does contain a calcium absorbing substance which is harmful to the body, called oxalates. When boiled most of the oxalates are removed.
This leafy vegetable is a good source of folates which help blood flow and vitamins B6 and B12 which help to protect the blood vessels. by lowering the levels of homocysteine.
Arugula Lettuce
One of the most potent natural foods on planet earth is arugula lettuce packed with phytochemicals and jam-packed with vitamins and minerals including Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese, Riboflavin, Zinc, Folic Acid, Iron, Beta-carotene, Copper, Vitamins A C and K, and more! As well as being a source of cell repairing antioxidants.
Arugula lettuce is known for it health benefits and properties to enhance sexual performance in men and women since Roman times.
Broccoli
Broccoli, also known as the sex vegetable, naturally very high in semen producing and testosterone enhancing zinc. Additionally, Broccoli is high in protein, fiber, Vitamins A, C and K while enhancing the body’s ability to absorb vitamin D.
It Is known for properties to keep the blood flowing by helping the arteries to remain open thanks to the lutein found in Broccoli.
Blood pressure lowering potassium is also found in Broccoli in high concentrations, meaning this is a very good vegetable for impotent men to eat on a regular basis.
As it lowers blood pressure and keeps the arteries open allowing for blood to flow easily while enhancing testosterone levels and sperm production. I am definitely going to eat more Broccoli!
